Star arrival of the month and Foster Parent Opportunity!!
Last week a very special arrival turned up at Harnas, when Orton returned from his leave he had a beautiful bundle of fluff snuggled in his jacket! It was a 6 week old baby baboon which had come from a farm 60km east of Gobabis. The baby’s mother had been shot by the farmer as it was seen as a pest! Luckily a lady on the farm had seen that there was a baby with the mother and rescued her. Orton named the baby baboon Chloe and she hasn’t left his side since they met! He is even experiencing the delights of nappy changing! Now we are all just waiting for Marieta to get her hands on Chloe!
Harnas would like to give our supporters the opportunity to adopt Chloe and become the foster parent to this gorgeous baby baboon.
With an adoption you support symbolically an animal of your choice. With your contribution you help Harnas to cover the costs for the following expenses: Food and supplements, immunizations and general medical care, enclosures and maintenance or cost of rehabilitating
animals that has potential for release.
You can support our baby baboon Chloe in two ways:
1. A monthly donation of N$100 (€10, £10, US$15) – of course if you would like to donate more than this amount then that would be hugely appreciated!
If you become a foster parent through monthly donations you will have your name put up on our Website, Facebook page and on the appreciation wall here at Harnas. You will also recieve a certificate.

2. An individual donation only made once – This can be for as much or as little as you wish.
If you become a foster parent through an individual donation you will have your name put up on our Website, Facebook page and on the appreciation wall here at Harnas.
